ive only ever used either baby beehinds bamboo fitted, which she out wee;d at around 8 months so i moved onto proper night nappies. i prefer wildchilds have 3, i also have a zada and catnaps these two are very new and only used once so far.
ok so about a week ago now we switched to cloth lol dd is almost 8mths old so a bit late lol but better late then never right?? atm we are doing terry flats at home and i have just bought a couple of pea pods for going out to try out (which seem great so far btw)
the problem we are having atm is her night nappy.. the first time we tried a cloth night nappy we just folded a terry into a long rectangle and put it inside a cover, this seemed to work but was incredibly bulky and in turn uncomfortable for dd.. we tried the plain old pad fold she wears during the day but as u can guess she wet through it, it didnt leak through the cover but she was extremely wet when i changed her.. last night i used the pad fold with one of my pea pods night boosters on top of the pad of the fold and she was still soaked, i have only washed the booster twice so its not going to be at its full potential yet but i was wondering if anyone has any tips for a good overnight nappy?

These are some of the ing I use and some my customers use
we have 3 wild childs 1 in the bigger size with a minky outter so it's like an AIO night nappy
1 GNST - this is the most absorbant but also the most bulky
1 Happy Hempy pocket - love it, microfleece inner with hemp inserts
1 Sugarpeas fitted with a microfibre booster and hemp booster topped with fleece.
Some of my customers use bumgenius with a stay dry booster, Haute traditional with extra hemp booster
HTH
A Baby BeeHinds Bamboo is definitely worth a shot, it comes with 2 snap in boosters too (one short and one long), and the BBH is all that many people need.
I find I need dedicated night nappies (or a BBH with extra extra boosting), because my kiddo has a water-bottle addiction, and sleeps for a long time overnight (no complaints about either of those things though!).
We have: Bamboo Sandmans, Lotus night nappy, Wildchild night nappy, Catnaps night Honeyboy. I love them all, they all work for us. They can be more bulky than a normal nappy though, so you will need to have a cover that fits over, eg. if your bub is pushing the limits of medium covers, you'd probably want a large cover over a night nappy.
Definitely give the hemp or bamboo Baby BeeHinds a shot. They're a good nappy to have in the stash anyway.![]()
thanx guys
i tried one of my pea pods (bamboo) last night with the night booster in.. it was almost good enough lol perhaps with a few more washes it might be.. there was jut a small leak out the side (not enough to worry about changing her even) the nappy felt a little wet on the inside but not soaked like the terry does.. BBH are cute lol i want just about one of ever nappy i see haha its an addiction!!
nonie if i were you id look in to investing in a wool cover like the Babybeehinds ones, put it over your peapod , this will eliminate any leaks!! get a large one though
I had the same problem but from birth! I use a lou lou night nappy and while I'm waiting for that to dry I've found BBH with a micro fibre booster between the two bamboo inserts covered by a wool cover does the job well. The key for me has definately been the wool cover. I use BBH ones and am about to try some wool longies just have to lanolise them.
I use Cute Tooshies with a BBH wool cover
ohhh i have some wool covers that were given to me.. no idea what brand they are looks more like someone made them they are knitted on the inside but like fluffy on the outside?? will try one of those over the top![]()
