Talking Why I use cloth and hate disposables!!!

My sister was staying with us this week, and stayed in Jazzy's room, which is where I keep her cloth nappies. I had to put a disposable on her one morning because I'd forgotten to get a cloth out of the room the night before and I didn't want to wake my sis. BAD MOVE! My sis got up, picked up Jazz for a cuddle and got a lovely surprise... And this is why we don't like disposables...

    My poor little sister!

Got another disposable blow out this morning (Jazz wears disposables to bed as we can't find a cloth that doesn't leak at night)... all up the back!

I can honestly say I've never had a blow out in the cloth nappies! Maybe a teeny tiny leak, but nothing that requires a full outfit change!

Leasha I agree. I had Matilda in sposies and cloth for a while.
Sposies = poo all up the back.
Cloth = little leak if anything at all (my daughter is one of the masters of poos!)

Here is one of my pics - since we're sharing.

I used cloth with my other 2, but am doing disposables this time for convenience and time saving for me but yes, if a b/f bubba especially hasn't had a poo for a couple of days, watch out - but in all honesty, I find the side leak proof leg thingies ok, but yes it can escape up the back if the nappy has been on for a while cos the nappy relaxes the longer it is worn.

    Happy washing LOL
