lol
I hope you get it for a great price - I wouldn't be without mine...
HI All,
This is a small WOO HOO, but has made my day!
Ive been eyeing the Little squirt for a while now but our budget is really really tight due to my extended unpaid maternity leave.
Anyway, I read around saying Reece bathrooms stocks them so I rang them up and they said it was $130! WHAT A RIP OFF!
So I rang my sister's bf who is a plumber and gets a traders discount and he said LEAVE IT WITH HIM because he personally knows someone who owns a Reece store!!!!
Thanks for reading this rather irrelevant post LOL
SO YES!!! I MIGHT BE GETTING A LITTLE SQUIRT FINALLY! WOO HOO!!!! And hopefully for an affordable price!!
lol
I hope you get it for a great price - I wouldn't be without mine...
I was reading on another forum that you can make your own with stuff from bunnings and it only costs around $20.
Not sure what you would need - i could ask though.
Yeh,
I was thinking that as an alternate option. That would be great if you can find out. THANK YOU!.
Also, would we be able to control the pressure for a home made? Can we control the water pressure on the little squirt?
Here is the list of things needed for a nappy washing hose
1 mtr of 1/2 inch hose (garden hose ok)
2 x 1/2" x 1/2" plastic hose tails
2 x clamps to suit
1 x plastic garden hose gun nozzle
1 x Roll of Plumbers Thread Tape
This should fit to your tap behind the toilet and you should be able to get all of that for around $20 from any hardware or bunnings type shops.
Assembly:
place clamps over hose ends
place hose tails in each end of hose
(if this is difficult, put ends of hose in a cup of hot water for approx 3 mins each to soften hose)
Tighten the clamps with screwdriver
connect one end to the tap fitting behind the toilet. and connect the nozzle fitting to other end of hose.
Make sure each end is firmly fitted and turn the tap on.
Make sure to check for leaks. If you have any leaks from the fittings you may need to use "Plumbers Thread Tape".
This is what i was told Phoenix - let me know if you try it.![]()
So dissappointed!
He just rang me up and said its $85 with the discount =(
Thats even more expensive than some nappy online stores!!!
Might have to try out your option Mummy or hint to my siblings about what present to get DD for Christmas! LOL
EEEK! - I have seen it for 80 online. That just sounds like a rip off - remind me never to go to Reece!
Let us know miss tree if it works
YES REECE IS A RIP OFF
when i rang them they didnt even know what it was, I said, can you check your product database and they go "oh yeh we do sell them" LOL
