2 querys re teeth

ok Jack has all 8 yes 8 of his 6-12mth teeth

what I was wondering when do you take kids to dentist for the first time, I read the other day once the first 8 are thru you should make a visit does it seem silly to go at 8 mths

secondly jack has taken to grinding his teeth (I had to wear a mouthguard as a teenager cause I would grind my teeth) is there anything anyone can think of to discourage this

It wont hurt to take him along to a dentist - even if they do nothing, it still gets him used to the chair and surrounds for when you do have to take him for treatment kwim? The more familiar he is with it the better in the long run.

As for the grinding, my three did it from time to time and if I caught them when they did it, I would tell them no, stop grinding your teeth. I have no idea if it worked or not though.

nothing wrong with getting him used to the chair, most places wont change you, nothing you can fo about the grinding most kids grow out of it by the time the adult teeth come through

thanks for the replies might give our dentist a call and see what they say

as for grinding i jjust keep saying Jack do not grind your teeth if it will work but worth a try
