Question 9 months and no teeth.

    Hi everyone,

DD2 has turned 9 months today. She has no teeth. When DD1 was 8 months she had 4 tooth. Is this normal? Is there anyone with babies like my DD that developed their teeth later on.

Both my girls popped their first teeth at about ten months.

Was about the same time their father did as well.

Babies tend to do what they want, when they want. So I wouldn't worry about it yet.

My DD got her first tooth at 11 months. Shes fine and her teeth are perfect. It was alot easier IMO too, dealing with an older teething child than a younger one.

My DD had her first come through at about 5 months, but then didn't get any more until she was nearly 1, then got about 5 at once - kids are all different and I wouldn't worry about it too much just yet.

My DS and DD got their first teeth at around 10-11 months. All babies are different.

I didn't get any teeth until after 12 months, mum can't remember when but she thinks even closer to 18 months. I have a full mouth of happy healthy teeth!

I have had 2 of my kids at extreme opposite ends of the whole teething age to each other. DS2 didn't get his first tooth until he was 15-16 months old. His sister, DD3 got her first tooth at 3.5 months.

oh yeah! And I used to panic that she would never have teeth got her 1st tooth at 10.5 months and got another 5 over the next 5 weeks. Dont panic, even though I was sure my DD wouldnt get teeth, they will be there eventually

    DS2 was 9months (almost 10) .
DD is 8months on Fri and still no sign of them for her.

    They'll pop through soon enough

My DD1 was 14 months before she got her first tooth. We considered dentures for her first christmas... She also 'cross-cut', meaning she didn't get them in the typical order. She is 8 now and seems to be slower to loose her baby teeth than most of her peers, she only has 6 adult teeth. They are perfect though, and I'm sure her other adult teeth will arrive when they're good and ready!

DS1 was over 12 months. I was looking in his MCHN book as DS2 has just had his 12mth and it has a line for teeth on his 12mth check. DS2 got his first tooth at 5 months. All different DS1 we never new he was getting a tooth. DS2 makes us all know about it lol.
