When was your Bubbas first tooth?

ummmm so was hoping it would be a while before we were here but my 11weeker has two teeth one is completely out and the other has just got the tip through, no wonder she has been so fussy.... I am using the amber teething bracelet panadol and bongella, I have been taking the necklace off to sleep thats right isnt it?
So do you think they will dissapear?
What age is the norm? What age did your bubbas get teeth?

I have late teethers, mine have cut them at 9 months, 8 months and 11.5 months respectively. Apparently average is around 6 months but I have known plenty of babies that have cut teeth around 3 months. Every baby is different. I would say if they have actually cut and you can feel the sharp edge they will be out for good. I find with mine that they can go up and down a couple of months before they actually cut as in you can feel bumps but no sharpness. But once I can feel sharpness they are cut for good.

Dont think there is a normal age, when it comes to teeth!
My DS got his first one a couple of weeks ago @ 10months! In my mothers group it ranged between 3 and 10months, one little boy had 8 teeth before 8months.
Sounds like you are doing all the right things.

Hope it passes quickly for you both.

I think between 3 and 9 months is the norm. My DS didn't have any teeth until 8 or 9 months. I say 8 or 9 because I only noticed he had teeth when he showed me one day, lol. I wondered why he'd been particularly screamy.

Like others have said, I don't think there really is a norm. Both mine have been around 6 months when the first tooth has cut, but I know of a couple of bubs that were born with teeth and others who haven't had teeth come through till after they turn one.

DD was the same age as yours when she got her first tooth (sam thing, bottom 2 came up at around the same time - a few days apart i think)
her teeth all came through super quick, she had all her baby teeth (except obviously her 2yo molars) by her first birthday.

i dont think theres a "right" time, i know that because she got her teeth so early seeing a baby with no teeth looked funny (which isnt supposed to be an awful funny, but a very cute "omgosh, its all gummy smiles" funny)
by her 1st birthday i still had friends with babies the same age whose first couple were still coming through!

poor things, it shouldnt happen so early they dont know whats goiing on

Dd3 didn't get her first tooth til 12 months old. See both totally normal just at the opposite ends of the scale
