my DD (not DS, he's two now!) has been increasingly windy/grunty/squirmy/crying/unsettled/unhappy over the last few weeks and we've been trying Infant's Friend and Infacol but it doesn't seem to be helping all that much. So after much googling, I'm going to try cutting the "colicky" foods out of my diet - dairy, caffeine, soft drink, chocolate, nuts, spicy foods, gas-producing foods (broccoli etc). Has anyone else done this, and did it help? I'd reeeeaaaally like to find something that works. And the fact that after less than one day of the diet change, I'm obviously de-toxing (splitting headache) means maybe I was having too much !!! Now to survive without caffeine & chocolate...
(oh and I'm also going to take her to see my osteo).
Mmmm not too sure babe, I tended to cut out the caffeine, chocolate and spicy food early on anyway and reintroduced as they got older...... but I had to have a giggle at your reference to DS - I was thinking mmmm I'm sure X isn't still having EBM... Sneaking back out now - hope it works hun xox
ooooh it took me 5 mins to work out what on earth you meant... see, told you I'm de-toxing... my brain SO isn't working!!! THanks anyway hun. Going to edit my post now :P
I found I couldn't have caffiene, cabbage, cauliflower and garlic and when I did it did upset DS's digestive system too. As he got older I was able to have the odd peice of chocolate and occasional glass of coke and have eventually introduced everything again. :crossfinger: that it works for you too
