Anyone's child been to the gastro clinic at Westmead chn's hosp for reflux?

Has anyone's paed sent your chn to see a gastro doc at Westmead Chn's hosp for reflux?

My DD is currently 2years 3 months old and still has gastro reflux and is currently on Nexium 10mg granules to control it.

Our paed has sent off a referral for her to be seen by a gastro specialist at the chn's hosp for their opinion and further management as obviously we dont want her to stay on medication considering since she has been medicated with different meds since she was 3 weeks old!

If you have been to the gastro clinic - how long did it take to get an appoint?

What did the docs suggest there?

I haven't been there or heard anything, sorry. We are seeing a gastro paed in Randwick in May. Have you been to one before or first time?

No, we have been seeing a paed since she was born and the paed kept saying she would grow out of it, but then she got to 2 years old and he said, I need you to take her to a gastro paed for their opinion!
