My 3 month old has terrible dribble rash caused by constantly having a wet chin from either reflux or chewing his hand (I'm sure he is teething). The rash looks terrible, his whole chin is red and spotty and the skin is starting to peel.

I read some suggestions are to put on vaseline or paw paw ointment but is this safe for a 3 month old? He will inevitably lick it off and he is not eating solids yet obviously, so wondering if it would be bad if he swallowed these products.

Any one know?
