Poor bubba - teething at two months

Poor little Juliette is teething She is upset & in so much pain, but there's not much I can give her seeing as she's only 2 months old. Plus it looks like there are two coming up at the same time, I can feel one as a tiny bit sharp but the other is just under the gum. Hopefully they'll pop through properly soon.

sarah, are you able to use Bojella or anything to help? i'm clueless, but i can understand how very hard this must be, watching your poor bubba in pain!

only other thing i can think of is cool teething rings - but i'm thinking of things that worked for slightly older bubbas - i have NFI for a little itty bitty bubba!

hope these teeth come through in a hurry and give little Miss J some relief very soon

A cold fashwasher in the fridge that she can gum on might provide some relief. Apparently as the gums are softer when younger teething can be quicker and less painful for them so that's a small consolation.... I hope they pop through soon for her.

    Me neither!!!

Aaron was at the shops before so I sent him to the chemist to find out & there is nothing we can give her until she is six months old, aside from panadol. I gave her some & she is sleeping now, but she's finding it hard to feed I'll have to try a cold washer or teething ring when she's up again, not sure if she'll be able to hold it in her mouth properly though!

Wow Sarah, that's hard when she's still so little!! Poor little thing. I don't think you'll be able to do much for her other than panadol.

I hope they pop soon! We've been teething here for weeks too, we're up to number 4 and counting, but he didn't start till around 5 months.

Have you checked out the Hylands Teething Relief Tablets? I just had a look at my bottle and it doesnt say anything about age limits

The pharmacist said Brauers isn't recommended until after 6 months either, the bottle has a dose for under 6 months (we have some already) but he said it's still not advised. I haven't heard of te Hylands ones, I might check them out.

Please don't burn me at the stake, but you could always just pop your finger in a bit of brandy/whisky and apply that to the gums. NOT MUCH, just like a half a drop. It takes the feeling out of the gums. My grandmother/mother swore on it. I did not try it with my own bubba, but she was big enough to have the usual teething remedies.

Hope those teeth come thru real soon poor bubba

    Goodluck!!

It's hard isn't it when they're so young. Emily has 2 teeth coming through at the top, the tips have broken through. She's doing alright considering, but she has started waking up at night again though.
