    Pulling my hair out!!!!!!!!!

This is more of a vent.

I dont know whether its realted to teething. Mayb coz she had her needles yesterday?? who knows. Those times when u wish they could just say "hay mummy, this is whats wrong with me".

The past 2 days have been.... exhausting. She has a nappy rash, wont let me put her down (like has started chucking tantrums with legs etc flying everywhere), pulling her hair, her ears, not eating, not drinking, dribbling cup fulls at a time.

Well tonight... all was good. DP put her down about 6:20pm.. asleep by 6:30. She woke at 7 and we were able to settle her back to sleep. Woke at 7:30 and has been screaming ever since. Changed her bum, gave her teething gel and rocked.. shhhed... patted... stroked... everything. But nothing, no interest in sleeping, more interested in kicking legs and rubbing face. Me n DP have done a tag team, doing about an hour each with her. Just then... last resort, offered her a bottle.. no luck.. chewed on it and had mayb 30 mls. Layed her back down.. scream... but hay now i know why shes screaming... shes SOOOOOOOOOO over tired! Felt her tummy.. nice and soft, so mayb no tummy pain? Oh and i even gave her a massage. Which she loved, but didnt help. SO DP has just taken back over.. and i just want to say.........sdijfsdfjpsdfijsdifjsdoijfiosdjklzmxkl cmpowfjwoiej ifjwpoejfl;samdlasdlkasop]dwoefjpiwejfpdsjfarrrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    thanks

Awww you poor thing There isn't much you can do other than ride it out. When Jett has those days and you have no idea what is wrong and everything you do just seems to make the screaming and crying louder the only thing I can think of to do is to just cry with him! It doesn't help them and I'm not sure it helps me, but I just go with the flow.

I hope you find a solution soon. She hasn't eaten something different has she? Or something that they can be a bit sensitive to.... onion, garlic, broccoli, cauliflower etc?

thanks for replying. Dp finally got her to sleep.

Nah she hasnt eaten anything different, coz she hasnt really eaten anything today. I am so exhausted, i couldnt even cry. It took so much strength just to say "shhh.. shhh". That sounds so pathetic. I will prob look at this post in a few months and think "on man what a whinger i was".

if you think it might be related to teething, try the Brauer Teething Relief. It helps with the pain and irritability of teething and I find it fantastic. You can give every half hour for up to 4 doses before she is due to go to bed, and it just might help take the edge off.

I love the stuff. It's all natural homoeopathic and works a treat for me. I use it a couple of times during the day and then follow the above regime for nighttime and ds generally settles down ok when he's teething quite bad. and we're still waiting for teeth to show and he's 9.5m?!?!?!?

    just a suggestion.

    good luck
