    infant's friend v infacol v Brauer's?

Which do you prefer for 'colic'? Infant's friend, infacol or Brauer's Colic Relief?

You might want to research the preservatives used in Brauers... I have come across it raised as an issue several times.

Infacol was the one that made the most difference in our house, tried Brauers and it pretty much did nothing, tried another one thats name escapes me (similar to infants friend) which was less 'medicinal' than infacol, again no impact, tried Infacol and had a new happy and settled baby in hours!! From week 6-12 it was our godsend!

Also, gentle tummy massage, in an arc shape from left to right also helped, and the old bicycle legs movement

DS1 infants friend was a godsend However for DS2 it didn't help and Braures worked for him.

We used infacol and it worked for a little while. It seemed fine at the time but in hindsight im not sure whethet it helped alot or whethervit was just a case of waiting while ds' tummy matured in general.

Is there a minimum age for infacol or can you use it on young babies?

i used infacol i havent tried the others because the first one i bought was infacol and it worked brilliantly. it said on the box from 1mth old, that was obviously a couple of yrs ago now, it could have changed, but i started using it around 5/6 weeks
actually i did try gripe water and she wouldnt have a bar of it, hated the taste. the infacol tasted similar to milk from memory.
