    Teething - please help

My nearly 7 month old son has always been a great sleeper for the last week and a half every night he's been crying for 1-2hrs, am slowly starting to go insane. what do i do? i know it's teething his mouth is very sore. do i give him panadol every night? sit with him? keep his normal routine in where we try and let him put himself back to sleep?
so many questions and i would really appreciate any advice. i know everyone is going through something with teething i just need some stragergies to help my husband and i get through.

    thanks tired mummy

I found nurofen and some bongela worked better for us than panadol on the little ones.
    And lots of cuddles.

During the day there are so many activities going on they can get distracted.
At night, they are in slinet rooms, no lights and nothing to do than think about how much their mouths hurt.

Give him some cuddles. It wont scar him for life to sleep with you for an hour or two until the pain relief kicks in and he settles .

    xx

Argghh - it's shocking isn't it?? We are there too - trying to get through with the Hyland's teething tablets and Nurofen, poor chicky here was up every hour. Just awful - I know some people also swear by the amber teething necklaces, we may have to investigate.... Good Luck!

    Hi Guys,

Thanks for the quick replys, we're already using the brauers, have ordered the amber necklace and will go and check out the teething tabs. Just knowing this is going on with other people (which i alreadyknew but needed some support!) has already make a difference. I just have to remember that he's not doing it on purpose and he doesn't know whats going on, poor little bubbas they must hate it.

    thanks again
