DD is teething at the moment and she seems to get this blothcy red rash on her tummy or legs that comes for a few hours then dissapears as quickly as it arrived.
Someone suggested to me it could be a teething rash. Anyone else had this?
She's not eating anything new or wearing anything new, same bath oil as always same detergant as always so none of those.
It doesn't seem to bother her it just looks awful and I just find it odd that it comes on quickly the dissapears after a few hours.
DS has a rash on his back and back of neck
He has lost his appetite and I am pretty sure he is teething, he has 2 teeth already, but didn't have this rashy thing or the loss of appetite.
My DS has a similar things probably 3 or 4 times from when he was about 9 months to nearly 13 months. It would come up mainly on his legs and arms and sometimes on his face and hands too. They were very red and slightly raised and kind of looked like mosquito bites that had been scratched. I took him to the Dr and he said it was hives and was a reaction to a virus to which he had come in contact with. They did not appear to be itchy and didn't bother him and would just come up and then just as suddenly dissapear. Maybe get a Dr to check it?
Shell, I don't think it's teething related. Jack had it a couple of times and I'm pretty sure it was an allergic reaction, but I really couldn't find anything that could have caused it. I would take photos next time so that you can show a doctor in case it has gone down again by the time you get there.
Thanks I did take her to the drs and told it was hives but unfortunately I can't figure out what us causing it. They come and go so quickly and I've cut certain things out to try work out but who knows.
