Question Uhhh... hmmm... top teeth first??!!??

Jazz has no teeth yet, but I am 99% sure that Jazz has two that are about to cut.

The top ones Not the front ones though ... looks more like the second incisors.

Is this on any range of normal? I know babies can get their top teeth first, before the bottom, but is this normal?

I am a bit concerned, as I have had HUGE issue with my teeth, overcrowding, and for some reason I have too many teeth. I've had 7 taken out in that last 15 years, and am still cutting teeth as we speak (yeah, not only that but at 14 I was told I wouldn't get any more teeth - no more 'buds' - and have cut 6 since then, apparently only two of those are wisdoms says the dentist I saw late last year!). So I am a shark... or a crococile... yeah... anyway...

Should I be worried? Has anyone elses bub gotten then in complete random order? Do you think this could be a sign of teeth problems like mine? Wish my mum could remember what order I got my teeth

It can happen, I watched this doco on some tribe in Africa and they have some weird superstitions about babies who cut top teeth first so its obviously a world wide occurrence.

DS got his 2 bottom teeth first and then the next tooth wasn't the middle tooth but the one to the left of the middle iykwim? I was lucky enough to have a dentist in my mothers group and asked her and she said that they can come through in more random ways it was all perfectly normal (she also said if there were any problems she could fix them )

In saying this Dp and my bro both have funny teeth too but until they come through there isn't a lot we can do and it sounds like lot's of people have funny teeth.

Apparently I cut my teeth "on the cross" as my mum put it. My teeth turned out to be perfect... if I do say so myself.

    Thanks everyone!

She has almost cut those two, I can see them right on the gum, and they may have already some through only I'm not exactly sure... they look like it but then also looks like they're still alittle under the gum (this teething business is s science! lol) and now has big lumps at the front which I assume are her two fronts coming down.

No more action on the bottom. What an odd little creature I have

We are cutting ours in a funny order too Leasha! DS got his bottom 2 middle ones, then his eye tooth top left, and is now working on his eye top right, then right incisor and right middle one as we speak.

You know what i noticed with DS, was he was biting quite a bit months BEFORE he had any toothy pegs, and now that they have started to come through, he has only bitten me probably 3 times, one of which was when he fell asleep and clamped down on me.
I find this a bit strange, but won't complain about the lack of biting lol.

My DD started cutting her teeth quite early and got the first two at the bottom but then got the little vampire look happening as well. She now has both middle teeth too. It looks quite funny with the gap in the middle.
