What signs/symptoms did your DD/DS do the days following up to cutting a tooth??
Exaclty what the title says...
Ive read all the signs, all the symptoms, blah blah blah, but im just wondering what your baby did in the few days leading up to cutting a tooth...
Im not talking weeks, im talking days...
For mine, most of the time there were teething poos (OMG they are so toxic looking you'll know one when you see it LOL), mild/moderate irritability, sometimes they went off their food (solids - my older 3 were older babies when they got teeth), disrupted sleep. But then other times there were no signs at all, I would see a new tooth and wonder where on earth it came from LOL.
Casey had severe nappy rash, got very clingy for mum, didnt want a bar of dad, increase appetite by a whole bottle, crying during night, and yep, mad poo! Used chinese herbs topically for 4 days after trying all the expensive creams to no avail and happy to say 1 tooth up and all symptoms cleared up!
Amy had symptoms for weeks before her teeth actually cut through but the one constant has been that the night before her tooth is through, she wakes up almost every hour. I know it's her tooth though cos she never does it otherwise. Plus the tooth is just below the surface for a couple of days. It's really quite obvious when there's a tooth about to pop through.....starts out as little dots on the gum and then the day or two before it turns into a line and looks really sore. I swear by bonjela and sometimes (very rarely) panadol if she seems to be in distress.
besides Jacks molar, I found he slept a lot he got 1st tooth at 3 1/2mths he seemed to sleep heaps that day and woke with a tooth same for all others bar 2nd year molars and eye teeth
Red cheek(s), grumpy, dribbling, reduced appetite, oh yeah, those poos LOL. DS2 is cutting 2yo molars atm and I swear these are the worst of all. Poor little things.
