    Zantac syrup

Okay so I got some syrup instead of the tablets, but still confused about the dosage....

Google says it's supposed to be about 2mg per kg of weight. Now I'm really bad at maths so can someone please help me out?

DD is 5.5 weeks and weighs 4.44kg. If we round to 4.5, that means 2(mg) x 4.5 = 9mg. The bottle says there are 150mg in 10ml, therefore 15mg in 1ml right?

15/9=1.6 so then what happens next? Do I do 1(ml) / 1.6 = 0.6, is that right? So she should have 0.6ml each day? Seems like hardly any. My maths has got to be wrong! Lol

Sent from my iPod touch - sorry for any mistakes!

Yes that is the right maths but there should be instruction from the doctor. If you are confused I'd be ringing them to find out specific dosage instructions.
DD was on it 2x daily.
