DS sleeping seems to be getting worse (and it already wasn't great!!!)
Felix is 11 months old.
Currently he is waking around 5 x/ night...and has a feed at 10:30pm, 2:30am and 5:30am...
He only manages about a 40 minute sleep in the morning and sometimes a 30 minute sleep in the afternoon.
Although he's my only child, I work part-time running my own private practice...and I'm finding trying to get everything done so hard...especially after all these months of sleep deprivation.
We only use gentle methods to help him to sleep...but these days, breastfeeding seems to be the only way he will re-settle...otherwise he will literally scream the house down if I don't feed him.
Also...his day feeds have increased as well...so I figure he's probably having around 8+ feeds a day (as well as 3 meals of solids)
I know babies are 'awful sleepers' and that as he is learning to talk, eat, walk, etc., he's also learning to sleep...but things seem to be getting worse rather than better.
I'm not sure what to do...I don't want BF-ing to be the only way he sleeps, but any other resettling methods, really don't seem to work.
Any ideas?
I'm going to get the 'no cry sleep solutions' (which I've read but I think I'll buy my own copy and follow it to the tee!)...would the baby or toddler version be better, given that he is coming up to being 1!
Anyway...I guess this is more a vent than anything...I'm just so tired...
