How to Actually co-sleep safely?

I'm not on BB very often now L&B but just saw this thread and had to come in and say CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

As for co-sleeping. When my girls were really little I used a nappy change table pad that has high sides and had them next to me. Then when they were a bit bigger, I lay on my side with them in the crook of my arm.
