my 22month old vomits to avoid bedtime!
My daughter can make herself be sick to avoid going to bed at night time. Advise I have received in the past from my Maternal health nurse has been to be consistant with our routine and eventually she stops after 4-5 nights.
However this bout of avoiding bedtime I am now 26 weeks pregnant and am feeling the exhaustion, because after the vomitting my partner continues to take her to bed and go through the normal routine of reading and singing while I get the mop and bucket out. However she is crying for up to an hour before going to sleep. (While he is with her).
I am looking for suggestions to break the cycle.
She starts coughing towards vomit as soon as we try to get her sleeping bag on. But if I take away the sleeping bag wont she just do the same at the next stage when she is put in her cot?
Has anyone been through this?

I haven't been through it but it is covered in the book Toddler Taming (I found it a great help for a different issue).
