Question She doesnt move in her sleep

I have noticed lately that MJ doesnt move in her sleep at all.

The only thing that she will do is move her head from side to side and possibly kick her legs (but se does this usually when she wakes)

I have put her down on her side and on her belly at night in desperation to herlp her sleep better, she seems to prefer to sleep on us, so figured that belly sleeping may be better with her. (we have a breathing/movement monitor)
She does seem to sleep for longer stretches on her belly, but it does worry me that she has never rolled over or attemped to move in her sleep. I could understand it when she was younger.
Could this be why she is waking now?
Anyone else baby's not move, Should she be doing this by almost 8mths???

My DD is 11 months old and has been a tummy sleeper since about 5 weeks.. She rarely moves in her sleep.. Occasionally she will wiggle her way up the cot but mainly stays the way she is unless she is waking up

haha we had to opposite problem - DS would move around so much he would bang his head on the end of the cot and we would have to turn him around every 2 hours when he woke up doing it!!!!

I would just think that she is very contented, and perhaps a deep sleeper so she doesn't have to move?

DD doesn't move as much as her brother (he was moving up the cot at around her age) so hopefully she doesn't move ever.. lol

Jazz is a bit younger but the only thing she does is kick, she doesn't even mover her head (now she has a flat spot ). Maybe she's just a back sleeper and very comfy? Actually, I didn't think it was bad for babies to not move in their sleep. If she's rolling and moving while she's awake I wouldn't worry too much.

    Hi

My DS loved being wrapped and was until he was 10 months old (loosely of course at that age ) - but it was a sleep signal for him - however during the day he would roll over and commando crawl and carry on.

As Leasha said, as long as active during the awake times - I wouldn't worry about it!

Oliver doesn't move much in his sleep. For ages he would stay exactly where he way put down. Then we had a rough patch where he was waking frequently and we figured out it was the sleeping bag, he wanted to sleep on his tummy but couldn't roll over in it. So we got rid of it and he is now a tummy sleeper. Once he is asleep he still doesn't move at all, but he will wriggle around a bit to get comfy before falling into a deep sleep, and he does wriggle on waking. He is very active when awake so I don't worry.
