Question 2WW Don'ts..to believe or not??

    Hi all,
I finally decided to join the forum after reading sooo much different things "not to do" in the 2WW and now going crazy! Hopefully I can find the real answerser here. So my biggest concern is sex during the 2WW. Is it true that is bad to FD during that period of time?? Also I read that cleaning, like vacuuming is bad? My schedule is pretty easy and I am home most of the time and try to relax as much as possible...
So pleaseee tell me what your opinion is, I will appreciate it!
    Thanks!

Oh gosh if you didn't vaccuum or have sex any time you could be pregnant then you'd have a very messy house & be very frustrated Because if you think about it, two weeks of every month would be a right off. My basic rule of thumb when TTC is to act as though I was pregnant in the TWW.... Essentially I wouldn't have any alcohol, stay off the foods you shouldn't have when pregnant & not do anything crazy, y'know like skydiving Everything is pretty well protected in there so if you do fall pregnant a little bit of vaccuuming isn't going to hurt. Just think of all of those women that fall pregnant by accident & are out partying & doing everything as per normal

BTW, hi & welcome to BB

Sarah_H thanks for the reply! Finally something positive I thought of the same thing about the women that get preggers by accident..and when i read all those donts on the internet i said to my self "WHAT CAN I ACTUALLY DO in the 2WW"? If i dont clean my house it will be a disaster in 2 weeks I quit the alcohol a month ago and eat healthy, take my vitamins, avoid lifting heavy things etc. The thing that got me is I read that having an orgasm is bad and can push things out or something? And some women out there hold it and dont have sex?! And I thought oh man itll be impossible for DH and I to hold it that long ..Silly or not i am kinda concerned now and thats why I registered here & hopefully get some good answers and suggestions from all of you ladies!
    Thanks XoXoXo

Female orgasm can help conception occur.

What about the female orgasm, does it help?

While the female orgasm is not essential for conception, some believe that uterine contractions from orgasm may actually help the sperm move toward the fallopian tubes, in order to fertilise your egg. Again, this theory lacks evidence, but luckily, orgasm is not an essential part of the conception process – and if you can enjoy intercourse with an orgasm, well, that’s a bonus in itself!
