8 days late but BFN

So im 8 days late...on the 3rd day after missing my period i took a pregnancy test (Clear Blue brand) ...it was clearly negative since there was no sign of a vertical line..however 5 days have passed, and still no period..not even any of my usual sign of a period..no sore breasts, no cramping...except maybe for very very mild cramps that come and go and only last a few seconds...but deffinately not my normal period-cramps...So ladies, what's your opinion? Pregnant or not? If i am pregnant, wouldnt the test have shown it since i took it after my period was due? is it possible i could get a positive result if i wait? Has anyone else ever gotten a late positive result? if so, how late?

also, thought i might add, that i feel a lot more tired than usual..i've been mising a lot of sleep..but i suppose thats because of anxiety..or could it be symptom?

Tests can give false negs for a while after ad is due if you are preg but its also not uncommon to have random late af , try another test and if its bugging you a blood test will give you an answer

clear blue tests aren't that sensitive. i would suggest testing with First Response Early Response, they're very sensitive and should pick up a BFP by now, if not go and ask for a HCG blood test.

i live in greece, so i dont know if they have that brand here...the best one i could find was Clear Blue...so i think a blood test first thing on monday is the best solution....

I used First Response and still got a negative when my period was due and a few days late. I had to go out and buy another box and it finally came back positive (very faint) a day or so after.
Blood test will give you a definitive answer.
