    Abdominal pain

    Hi All,
    AF due in 1 or 2 days but tonight have had intermittent very sharp abdominal pain over my left ovary...never had this before...anyone know what this could be?

    Thanks for your reply Emma, haven't bothered testing for pregnancy this month, as AF came when due ( but only very light and for only 2 days) but have been doing OPK's this month, and got a surge on day 19, so have assumed I am not pregnant...does this sound right?...any other ideas??

    Were you gassy... or need to do a number 2?? lol... seriously tho. I think these pains are very similar...

    but it could also be your uterus stretching due to a little bub (did you ttc this month)

    Tanya - no to the gassy & 'number 2' questions. Haven't had any more pains today. It was only on the left side, so I am really stumped - no idea what it means!!

    I also experienced similar pains very early - probably four weeks and onwards... good luck!!

    We didn't BD around O this month, but the cycle before we did. AF came but for only 2 days and very light...so I have just assumed there is no chance I am pregnant. Haven't got any other symptoms of early pregnany either, so I guess it is just wishful thinking on my part...if I was pregnant, I would be about 7 weeks, and surely would 'just know' by now?? :-k

    Still no AF today, felt like it was coming, but nothing...absolutley no pregnancy symptoms tho - pain has gone now as well, so I suppose I should just wait and see...

    That light AF may have also been an implantation bleed, I didn't bother to test coz I had AF cramps, then when I started throwing up and my BB's doubled in size I figured something was up, if you think your 7 weeks it will definitely show up in a HPT.

    well...got a BFN on a test today, so it's no go. Still no sign of AF tho.

    when I fell pregnant I had very strong pains.. that felt EXACTLY like af pains... I kept ignoring them and finally put two and two together and got a BFP.... maybe the 2 day af was implantation bleeding??
