Is it "normal" that my AF lasts for a different amount of days each cycle?

I came off the pill the couple of months ago and since then my AF lasted 4 days,
and 3 days the cycle after that. It used to go for 6 days when I was on the pill.

Hi Ticktac,

I think its ok for AF to last different lengths of time. When I was on the pill my AF was 7 days and now that I'm off its 5. How long AF lasts I'm sure has to do with hormone levels and when you're on the pill there's an artificial hormone environment being created. I think just give your body a chance to get back in its normal pattern now that you're off the pill and see what happens. Things are bound to settle down and you'll work out what's normal for you. Hormones levels are not identical each cycle so each AF won't be identical either.

Hi tictac, i think that this would be normal after coming off the pill. It would have been consistant when on the pill because you were controlling it all, now it is up to nature and this can vary. It will probably sort itself out after a while.
