Danielle, I think it's very common. It happened for me, espeically after baby no 2 (which we had planned to be the last but who knows now LOL!!). I know of some people who have deliberately fallen pg straight away as a result. Others wait and find that the feeling comes and goes a bit depending on what sort of day you are having. Like Chris, my DS1 was 11 months when we conceived DS2 and I love having them close. But it is very busy and some days I can see why people wait longer. I also couldn't imagine them any closer, but that's me. Others love it.

I suggest you do at least wait a few weeks and see how you feel when the hormones are back to normal. Having another one so soon is something you really want to be sure of, so make sure the decision is based on "real" feelings, rather than a hormonal high. If you still feel the same way then, perhaps that's your answer.

In the meantime, I would talk to DH about it now, so he can get used to the idea. Explain that it might just be hormones and in 2 months you might feel mad for thinking of another one so soon, but that it might be for real so could he have a think about how he'd feel about it.
