am i pregnant!

17 days since first day of period.... had unprotected sex on last day of period... and today im spotting! i have only spotted once before and that was when i fell pregnant with my son who is now 17 mnths old...

does it look like i could be pregnant?

Ovulation usually occurs around day 14ish of your cycle. To fall pregnant you usually need the unprotected sex in the 3 days, sometimes a week before that. Sperm will stay alive for a few days, but not much longer.
I'd love to think you are, but timing sounds way out to me

hey there girls thanks for your support! i am 8 days over due... i did a test about 3 days ago and it was neg..

im getting cramps like period pain and aching.. yet no sign.. had these for two weeks now!

this would be my second pregnancy... and with my son it took 8 weeks to discover if i were pregnant.. hence why i am confused. thought i might test in the next three days.

any suggestions

Sounds like its possible then. Maybe you ovulated a few days later than usual & thats why its not showing on a test yet?
Maybe give it a few more days & test again?

is it true that with the HPT it depends on your hormone levels there for if your body has not picked up hormone levels when testing it would be a neg?

with the cramping im getting i was hoping for a period because i got the neg HPT i was worried it could be ectopic............

The levels do go up the further you go along in the pregnancy. It is possible for them to be low enough to not be picked up on a HPT if you are less than 6 or so weeks.
If you O'd a week later than you normally would you might only be around 4 weeks pregnant now, so would explain it not picking up enough HCG.
Thats why I suggested waiting a few days. Coz if you are pregnant the levels should go up enough to be detected.
It could be a sign of etopic as well, so maybe get in to see your gp. I wouldn't stress too much just yet though
