    Question Anesthetic during the tww?

I'm currently in my tww, maybe... I'm on cd 21 of an unknown length cycle. My two cycles since my miscarriage and d and c have been 43 and 37 days and I had no obvious ovulation signs I could pinpoint. This cycle I may have had some ewcm but I'm unsure I'll get to the point now...

I have an endoscopy scheduled for Monday when I'm technically on cd 24 and could possibly ( and miraculously) be pregnant. I really need the procedure as it will hopefully confirm coeliac disease which is suspected as the possible cause of my miscarriage I will have a light general anesthetic but will be a problem if there is a little embie in there?

    Thanks

Hey. My sister in law had her gall bladder removed and found out the week after her operation she found out she was like 5 weeks pregnant. So I think you should be fine. Check with the dr if you're concerned.

I'd talk to the anesthetist about it before hand. I know women who have had to have GA's when preg, but not sure if it is recommended unless necessary or not. They can do a blood test to confirm if you are pregnant or not, but obviously not right there and then. Could you see a gp tomorrow, talk to them and get a blood test done so you'd know either way before Monday?

I mentioned it to my dr and he wasn't too worried but I thought I'd check here as you guys are more reliable if I am pg it would be very early and I wouldn't get bloods in time

Baby takes a couple of weeks to grow blood vessels and hook into your blood stream. Prior to this they don't get the drugs, alcohol or whatever else might be in your blood. So, i would think the endoscopy wouldn't be a prob.
