Anyone successful in having a baby girl using the O+12 method

Have never heard of it! I would have thought that would favour a boy tho.. coz the boy sperms would outswim the girl ones. Plus isn't it a bit hard to pinpoint when you actually ovulate to count 12 hrs from? I've never read the theory behind this method tho..

We got our girl by DTD leading up to O and stopping 2 days before O. Theory being that female sperm live longer, so by the time the egg comes only girl sperms are left swimming around in there.

Maybe get your DH into a high-stress job for a few months.. apparently that produces girls hehe.

OK... had a google. We used the Shettles method.. and this O+12 method refutes the shettles method.

Must say there is a certain appeal to only DTD once LOL.. especially when there are 2 little children that wake up all the time! There are other ways to favour for a girl tho (by killing off boy sperm) which are also mentioned on the site I'm reading. I've heard of these before..

-The girl diet
-Supplements (calcium and magnesium, cranberry)
-Douching before intercourse with a lemon douche (mix the fresh-squeezed juice of 1/2 lemon with an equal part of water, and insert with the empty bottle from a regular store-bought douche).

The book "sexual Odds" also goes on alot about how female organsm can affect the sex you have, as when we orgasm the cervix makes a sucking action...

Theory behind it is (and I'm remembering it very vaguely so it may not make sense!), boys swim faster... if you orgasm before you man does all your reproductive organs are relaxed and the boys are able to casually swim up there before the girls even have a chance... if you orgasm after your man, the girls get a bit of a helping hand in being sucked up by your cervix and pushed through with the contractions of the orgasm (in my mind I think this would just make the boys super fast... but apprently not!)

If it's any consolation, I always orgasm before DH and have been pregnant with both boys. But anyway... if you can find the book it's a good read
