    "Baby" Asprin & TTC

    Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has had luck with using "baby" asprin and TTC? I am curious as I had a DVT 18mths ago after an operation and a m/c after 10 mths of TTC (now on cycle 14).
I am now wondering if it may help.

    Any thoughts or opinions welcome.

I haven't had any luck myself - haven't actually tried it - but a friend of mine was telling me about it just the other day. Apparently it thins the blood which is great for women with thicker endometrial lining, which is what stops bub from attaching properly. So with that thinned, bub can attach, and everythings cool. Make sense?

I wonder if you should start taking it as soon as you find out you are ? My sister was told to take it after several MC so I wonder how soon you need to start?

I started it a few weeks go after being in hospital for something completely unrelated and a blood test showed I might have some clots.

I've had a few m/c's at different stages and hoping this might help.

    mild asprin and TTC

I wonder if you should be on it as soon as you because when you are implanting you need a surplus of blood flowing to that area... I am concerned I should be on it already... Or should I wait to speak to the doc or when and IF I get pg?

I had 4 miscarriages before I saw an FS and he advised me to take it. I am now 26 weeks pregnant, so far so good. I took it from the first positive blood test.

Ah then its probably best I at least wait till I get a before starting... by then I can at least chat with the doctor about it as well... I just would hate to have missed the boat on it and then find myself thinking of what I could have done to aviod another mc...

Well it seems some take it before and some after, either way I think it's worth chatting to your Dr about or at least researching it a little more.

From what I understand its used more so in the US than there.

Personally, I really wouldn't take it unless your FS says to take it. It is a very specific treatment for specific issues.

    Good luck!!
