how did u now u were ready for #2

so we r thinkin of tryin again after DD'd 1st birthday.
everytime i think about it i get a kinda butterfly feeling in my tummy.
all i have been dreaming about is having a baby or newborns and all my friends having babies too.
how did u know/feel that u were ready for #2?

We planned for two close together - but I had to wait until 9 months after the c-section to try for a VBAC. So thats what decided it.
There is nearly 19 months between my two. (I got pregnant straight away - but DD was 2 weeks late)

When Nina was about 9 months I started aching for another baby. I loved Nina to bits, but felt there was something missing, which was a sibling for her. All I could think of was having another baby.

I was ready for #2 too after my DD#1 first birthday - but DH wanted to wait so as he could get his promotion, thus bring in more money, thus allow for me to stay at home for another year etc.....we waited till she was 20mths, and fell pg straight away.....

I say the 'butterfly ' feeling is a good thing....i reckon i will still have it when im 60 !

We knew we wanted a second as soon as possible! We weren't actively ttc but didn't go back on the pill after ds1 as the pill messed my cycles up and it took 19 months to fall pregnant the first time so we were more than happy to just let it happen when it happens, so ds2 was a surprise! There is 17 months between the boys and I love the age gap, so far! Good luck with your decision!
