Re: BFP on First Response, Not Pregnant on Clear Blue. Sad & confused!
A final update, after more bleeding yesterday we were expecting the worst, and then today my scan showed no sac & my levels had halved. So i must have MCd in the last week. We're actually doing fine, and I'm so thankful that it wasn't too painful (just one day of heavy cramping last Tuesday when the spotting started). So it must've been really early, & I haven't had much bleeding. A massive thanks for all the well wishes!! I think we will start TTC next cycle. Xxx

MsBelly so sorry the outcome wasn't what you hoped for. Hoping that your next cycle has a much better outcome take care & allow yourself time to grieve xx
Re: BFP on First Response, Not Pregnant on Clear Blue. Sad & confused!
Hi ladies, I wanted to send an updated post as you were following my progress & in case someone reads this in the future & it relates to them.
I had my follow up HCG test yesterday at the early pregnancy centre & the midwife called a couple hours later to let me know they'd actually jumped back up to 400+ from 130 the week prior.
So I was back in for another scan first thing today, which revealed I did in fact have an ectopic. Oddly there still wasn't any pain except for a dull bruise sensation when they were probing me during the scan, which was only on one side where the mass was (they thought the mass was a shadow last week, but it had grown). I went in for surgery & got the tube removed & the doctor told me afterwards that it was small but it had actually started to bleed so I was really lucky to get in when I did.
I can't praise the Australian medical system enough, after reading some horror stories from women overseas, I feel very lucky. I have an excellent local hospital (RPA Sydney) where everyone has looked after me so well, and we haven't spent a cent.
Now it's lots of rest, & back to the drawing board when I'm well enough.
