a big *if* question

Hi All

I am being positive and thinking that we really do have a chance to fall pregnant this cycle.

We are going overseas in 2.5 weeks so I would be 4w5d when we fly out if we are successful. I have full travel insurance for everything except pregnancy.

Would you get a scan to ensure you didn't have an ectopic before you left? At 4w4d last time we could see an egg sack etc, and knew it was in my uterus. I guess I don't want to be in remote south-west Utah and have some kind of medical issues.

Although in saying that, I'm not even pregnant yet and the chances of an EP are small.

I reckon it's a smart idea, you'd certainly regret not doing it if it came to it. Besides, how cool would your holiday be if you found out you were pregnant beforehand!

I had an u/s at 3wk4d and we seen the sack. Iv'e had that with this pg and the last was 3w2d so i think you'd be right to see it at 4. Have fun in utah!

Thanks I wouldn't return til I was 7 weeks and don't really want to risk running into difficulty out there.
