Chances of getting evap lines on HPT

Hi everyone,

I was wondering whats the possibility of getting like 10 evaporation lines in a row?

Im not actively TTC but would welcome it.

They are a mixture of pink and blue dyes showing FAINT positives, the only ones that I cant really tell if they have a line or not are FRER

Confusing!!!

Im getting my bloods back tonight hopefully, im getting lines on tests where I have never got evaps on before... but some of them dont show up till after 10 minutes!!

Thanks for any kind of feedback, would love someone to even talk too.. feeling a bit lonely

ive never had it.. always had a line and it meant positive.. but as far as i am aware if you read it within the said time frame it is unlikely to get a fake positive or evap lines.. That being said you say some havent shown up till after 10 mins.. are you always using FMU? it seems pretty unlikely that you would get 10 evap lines and it actually still be a negative..

not sure if that has helped lol

Hi! thanks for replying.

The reason im so confused is that im on depo and cant believe id be prego! seems so unlikely.

Some of them have come up before the time frame but others took a while longer but still had colour lol. so confusing! have you had any experience with evaps? xox

no ive only ever had a line show up when it was positive. so cant help with that.. And i have no idea what the Depo would do to a urine test. hopefully your doctor will be able to give you peace of mind (with either outcome) this evening.

It seems extremely unlikely that you'd get 10 evaps in a row - maybe take yourself off to the GP for a blood test. No form of contraception could be 100% effective, so there is always a possibility! GL whichever way it turns out

I went for a blood test this morning but when i rang just before they said they wont be back today and try again tomorrow

have you POAS again or tried a digital test? Expensive but no evaps!

Ive spent SO much money on tests lately, im pretty tempted to run out and get one but im gonna save myself till tomorrow!!!

Im disappointed since being assured by the nurse that my results will DEFINATLY be in today

I think i would be a rare one if ive gotten preg on depo, certainly not common

I don't know if this will help or not but I have done some experimenting with tests during my ttc journey and I get evap lines on heaps of different brands, especially the cheapies or sensitive tests. Even had them on frer. I now only consider a blaring line a positive.

I agree a digital might be the best way to go, they take a bit higher level of hcg

I hope it works out whichever way you want it too

Typically FR don't have evap lines - although they did admit there was a batch out recently that did not pass their "no evap lines" expectations

falling pg on depo is possible there is a member on here that is now due in Jan after having 2 depo shots.

Ive taken some FRER and I thought I could see a line but it kinda had to tilt it a little or look at it in a certain light

If i move the screen I can see a line, but I am not sure.... ths happened to me last week, but if the line has no colour it is not + can you test again in the morning?

Ive been 'assured' FRER dont give evaps... but its still possible, it is so faint... but come up in the time frame, having had so many tests like this is getting fustrating,

My other tests show a darker positive i guess but FRER arent getting any darker which doesnt make the situation any easier to understand

They say one line not preg, two lines preg if only they knew how much we stress
