Concerns about bleeding

Hi,

I did a pregnancy test last week at home and came back with positive result. However, at the same time i did the test, i discovered blood on my lingerie. the bleeding wasn't heavy but it does keep on for about a week (now it's stop). I've done a rough estimate if i'm pregnant it'd be about 3 to 4 weeks already. I've read so many thing about miscarriage. I'm really worry it happens to me.

I've already made an appointment with my doctor but the earliest is on the coming Wednesday. Should i just go to any GP for now and get their advice? Does the same situation happens on anyone here???

Bleeding can be scary and concerning I know. HERE's a link to a Bellybelly article about bleeding in pregnancy. It's not that uncommon to bleed in pregnancy. It's not always good news, sometimes it does mean the loss of a pregnancy, and I hope that's not the case for you. I think it's a matter of waiting and seeing, but I do think it sounds encouraging that the bleeding wasn't heavy.
