Could I test now or am I wasting my time.

BACKGROUND: OK DF and I are only just starting to TTC I was diagnosed PCOS in April. Have not been on pill for 12mths since then every AF bar 1 has been a perfect 28 days, I assume I ovulate as I get all the symptoms. I have my first gyno appoint in October so will know more then.

So I'm due for AF this sat the 22nd, done the every second BDing from day 9 to 15 hoping to catch the elusive egg ... LOL

Anyway getting itchy feet and want to test but don't want to waste my time and be dissapointed if I'm to early testing.

I have a feeling I am not a. because what are the odds 1st shot b. no symptoms whatsover except headaches, back pain, exhaustion ... but pretty sure I have logical reasons for all those

Any thoughts appreciated

I asked this question a few days ago. If a 25mul test would show a positive 3 days before AF. It depends on the sensitivity of the test but if I were you I wouldnt test until about Thursday.

I know it's a long wait until Thursday but I think it wouldnt be accurate if you did it now. It would probably show negative when it well could be positive.

I know my chances are silm this time around, but I'm trying to stay positive ... I have always told myself I would wait till saturday morning.

I'll stick to my guns and do that, the HPT I have says you can test 7 to 10 days after O ... but I'll just have to find something else to occupy my time with!!

. Don't always believe this. Some of these tests still dont show a positive even the day before AF is due. I wasted heaps of money on tests with DS #2 because I tested too early. It is so hard waiting though. I have my fingers crossed for you. Let us know how the test goes on Saturday or whenever you decide to do it.

Hahaha I suppose I'm toey today as I had a very vivid dream this morning of doing the test and getting a BFP ... LOL

I usually test at 10dpo...i got a bfp last time at this time. GL!

Thanks Shoegal, I'm going to be good and hold out a few more days. The chances of being BFP this month are 1 in a million so don't hold out much hope but theres something about the unknown.

LoL I know the 'biting the nails' thing... For the last couple of days I've been feeling really really sick and I've been holding off testing - anyways, last night I had a dream that I took a pgcy test and it came out positive (although in the dream I m/c'ed again)
I was due for AF on the 17th and it still hasn't arrived... So I'll be testing by the weekend if it hasn't arrived
Here's hoping that we both get the we deserve.

OMG LizJessie due the 17th and you still haven't tested?!?!! I couldn't hold out that long!!!

I started tempting tuesday i had a 36.7 36.7 now today a 36.8 I know it means nothing in the whole sceme but if it doesn't go down sat (due for af) I'll be testing!!! Couldn't wait as long as you.

Must admit tho I feel a bit like AF is on the way, have that really heavy feeling. Theres always next mth

With my first pregnancy I tested at 11DPO & got a BFN, then on 13PDO (the day AF was due) I got my BFP. This time round I tested at 13DPO & got a BFP. That was with the supposed early tests as well, they just didn't seem to pick up enough HcG at the time.
