missed period but negative test

this is my first time in this forum, i think im pregnant with my 2nd baby, i and 5 day late for my period but i keep getting a negative response, i have been having cramps, and feel like i should have it but, i just have a clear to cream disscarge. i have also been on medication due to PND which has not effected my cycle before. other than that i feel fine. what do u all think, i have a doctor appointment next week with my regular doctor thanks

It's really hard to say b/c for instance you may have ovulated late in your cycle & that is why the pg test is neg, it could be b/c you are not using FMU (first morning urine) or have drank alot of water etc.... prior to testing. Otherwise it may be just a wacky cycle. You could always ask for a HCG blood test to confirm for sure. A blood test will pick up the slightest HCG increase whereas a urine pg test may not. HTH
