In the last few months my periods have not been very regular. For as long as I remember my period usually arrives every 28days. Now they occur around 30 days and I have one skipped a month recently.
I had a blood test done 2 weeks ago which showed that I have slightly higher testosterone levels and I have been referred to an endocronologist.
My current problem is that my period was due on Xmas eve and never came. I had unprotected sex on Xmas day but my partner came out before ejaculation. This was 6 days ago.
Last night and today, I've had slight cramping and brownish discharge and slight reddish discharge. I'm worried that this is ovulation implantation bleeding.
What are your thoughts? And would a pregnancy test work at this stage?
I say go with what your gut instincts tell you. Having PCOS i was constantly having irregular periods and whenever i would miss one after having them on time for a few months i would test but i was always unsure but when i tested the last time i just had a niggling that i was pregnant.
yes I have a feeling that I have PCOS as well...I will have to have further tests though...so do you think having a pregancy test now, would be accurate? or will I have to wait a bit longer?
If your period is late then a HPT would/should work by now usually on the due date they are accurate but there are the few pregnancies that dont show straight away on a pregnancy test if at all
Yeah i tested on the day i was due and got a very faint BFP. But give it another couple of days and retest or better yet go to the doctors, PCOS is something they can pick up on a bloodtest that is how i was diagnosed and then it was confirmed by ultrasound, some women can have the condition without the cysts but i have the cysts.
