    Unhappy deep concern

Ok, so i know this is a silly question, but im still hoping for some kind of advice or even answers.

Basically, my husband and i are trying to concieve. I have 4 children from a previous relationship and we would like one together. I think i had a chemical pregnancy last month so ahead we went again to see if we will be successful. However yesterday, 25 Jan, i got T-Boned by a woman who failed to stop at a stop sign. I had myself and my 4 kids in the car. It was quite traumatic, but we are all ok.
Now this is where the worry comes in...I know i should be thankful, and i really am, but you see i was kinda hoping that i was concieving. Its the right time and all.
What are the chances of conception being viable now if it did happen?
I dont know if this makes sense, but will the car accident hamper the fertilised egg embedding if thats what was going to happen anyways??, or will my body say no way??
Gee i sound unthankful but im not.
Basically has anyone had a traumatic experience like this or similar, yet still found themselves to be pregnant that same month??
    Thanks guys.

It is very unlikely to hinder a normal conception my love. I hope this is your month.

Leelee - I hope this is your month! I had a m/c around 8 weeks back in Jan 2006 after a car accident, but I also had some rather nasty deep bruising from the seat belt around my entire reproductive area, so that may explain why I m/c'd. Also, my mother had a rather bad car accident while in the early stages of pregnancy with me, and I'm now 22, so sometimes it can affect a pregnancy, and other times it won't. I'm pretty sure it won't affect conception though, unless there are any other underlying problems.
I hope you and your kids are ok though, I know from personal experience that it can be an extremely traumatic experience - I still don't drive and I was only a passenger in the accident I was involved in.
Sending loads of baby dust & sticky vibes your way!

Thanks Jenna, I really hope its our month too. We were lucky in not getting any bad injuries or bruising.. the worst injury was a fat lip where one of my daughters took most of the impact. The rest is just shock. We were shook around a bit though, so i dont know if that will have an impact.
Anyway its encouraging that your mum was in the same position and that your 22. Im just so sorry you also had to go through it with a different outcome.
    xx

No problem Leelee, glad I could be of some help
Probably better that I did m/c back then as I wasn't in a very good place at the time.
