How hard is the TTC!

Well month 6 of TTC#2 has bought no luck. I'm beginning to wonder if we are only going to have 1 baby. I'm getting more and more depressed because I really wanted them to be close in age. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. My cycle is spot on 28 days, we DTD every second day and I've given up BF'ing. I'm not interested in temping and buying OPK kits atm due to needing to save for a new car. Does anyone else have any other suggestions on what I could do or any stories about how long it took to conceive the second time around?

In terms of predicting ovulation, thermometers don't cost all that much... You can check your CM too - if you get EWCM that'd be a good way to know if you're ovulating and when's a good time to go for it. But it sounds like you're just needing to keep plugging away. As it took us 18mth of tring to have DS and then we never used any protection in between him and DD and there is a 3 yrs gap when we wanted our 3rd there was no mucking around and DH and I had sex every night, for a month ( his dream come true ) anyway we had been tring two month before the big month of trying and we got our baby that month, so maybe it work or could have just a fluke but no harm in trying.
