    Embarrassing question about 'him'

    Hi ladies,

Im not sure how to ask, but my partner isn't very well endowd IUKWIM

Sometimes I find it difficult to reach orgasm because..umm..it doesn't reach all the way.. It's only in a certain position that it does.

Can anyone vouch that 4 inches doesn't matter in TTC? Sorry for the question but I have to ask.
Im worried because if I can't orgasm nothings going to happen.?
    Thanks Heaps

Isn't the average length about 5.5 inches? An extra inch and a half wouldn't make a big difference when ttc, it's really squirted out quite quickly and far, he'd still be able to get it to the right spot!

As for orgasm, while it does help it's not essential for conception. Also, it's very common for women not to orgasm from penetration alone - I sure don't! The nerve endings in your vagina that make the penetration feel good are all towards the opening, I think in the first three inches? So really, he shouldn't need much more than that! Personally, my DH is fantastic at getting me to "go" in other ways at the same time.

    Good luck with ttc!

My ex was alot smaller and I still got pregnant with my first. You don't need to orgasm to fall pregnant but it does help.

I'm also someone that can not reach orgasm through penetration alone. While DF often gets me there while we DTD (either with his hand or his little buzzing sidekick), I don't always when we DTD and sometimes he gets me there before/after. I'm going to pop with our bub any day now, so it's definitely not a requirement when TTC.

    Embarrassing question about 'him'

It's not a silly question cause I asked the same thing when we first saw our fertility specialist as my dh is in his eyes not well endowed, I personably think he is fine.
I asked the question to our fs and was told size has nothing to do with it. This question was much to the embarrassment of my dh but I had to ask!!!
So just go for it and enjoy the trying to conceive :-)

Thanks ladies I feel a lot better.

It's funny but I keep telling him it's fine darling. I guess it's a male complex I don't know, but I know in the 'other position' it hits the back and I sure notice it.

    Cheers

I can sympathize with your Dhs embarrassment. My DH asked my Ob (who I work with as I'm a midwife for over 7yrs) if Oral sex caused my ectopic pregnancy. I've never been so embarrassed in all my life. And thought my husband was stupid also lol

    Oh my, that is hilarious!!

And ouch to hitting the back! My DH is on the larger side and I find hitting the 'end' very painful. We can't have quickies either because it hurts if I'm not completely ready
But no, you don't need an orgasm to conceive,
