Question Fertility Treatment living in Southwest WA?? Help Please!

    Hi all,

I'm hoping some of you will be able to help me....... I had been going to Concept Fertility Centre while I was living up in Perth up until January this year but have since moved down south to Busselton. I'm now ready to start another cycle in the next month or so and have recently had the thought of "oh my gosh how are the blood tests going to work now that I'm not in Perth anymore?". I am wondering if anyone knows how it works? Obviously I go up there for the actual treatment but I am wondering if they have anyone that they are associated with down south to do the blood tests with and get the results each day when the time comes? Or am I going to need to take a week off work to go up to Perth to do all the blood tests?

    Thanks in advance

    Jess

I went to concept as well :-) I used to be able to have my blood tests closer to home but the blood test centre that I went to changed names and would no longer allow it. I am sure they have an agreement with one of the blood test centres down south from memory. Give the nursing coordinators a call and they will tell you what fs do you see?

Oooh awesome that sounds promising thanks. Yeah I have left a message for them but hard to get in contact when I'm at work :-)
It's Dr Thompson. Who did you use?

I used Dr Thompson as well

I was with another doctor there to begin with but she left and we had done 2 cycles with her with no luck and we weren't particuarly happy with her. Dr Thompson was wonderful to deal with and got me pregnant first shot He was also really good when it came to blood tests, because he knew I lived an hour+ from the city he limited the amount of blood tests I had to have
