My DP and i have a 22 month old son and he has been pushing for a second baby since bub was 6 months old, but i have always been the one to say Im not ready, well about 1.5 months ago i decided i was ready so i went off the pill and i went to the Dr about 2 weeks ago and got the blood test to make sure all was good anyway the problem is I am not immune to rubella, even though i got the needle after i had bub as we found out i wasnt when i was pregnant, so i have had the immunisation again now and have been told i have to go back on the pill for 3 months as i cant get pregnant for that long after having the needle, the dr has said i maybe one of the 1% that will never be immune but i just have to keep having the needles, anyway this has really hit me hard, and i didnt think it would as i wasnt ready for so long but now im ready and i cant, life just isnt fair sometimes

when we decided we would start TTC i found out i needed shoulder surgery, put our plans on hold for 6 months, it nearly killed me, but the the joy of that BFP was even more amazing coz we had waited that extra time!
Finally ready but have to wait
