Question Help, is it pregnancy symptons??????

    Hi,
Was wondering if anyone know what I am feeling.....
I am currently going through IUI.
I had the insemination done 2 weeks ago on Monday, and I have taking Progesteron pessies internally since.
As of 3 days ago, my nipples became so sore I could not touch them (i was nearly crying). They felt like they were burning from the iside out. My nipple is also staying errect and seems swollen. (sorry if TMI)
I have also been moody as hell and yesterday I burst out crying in my bosses office. (i am never usually that emotional)
Could this be all be side effects from the Progesteron pessies????????

    Help.
My FS has also brought foward my BT to tomorrow instead of Monday. Is that a good thing or bad thing???

progesterone causes a lot of symptoms similar to pregnancy hun - unfortunately it's a PITA cos it's hard to tell one way or the other!! given that the sore nipples have happened late in the tww though, is a good sign

    good luck!

I don't know if it's PG symptoms or not, but I've had the same thing (extremely sore nipples and heightened emotions) over the past week or so, and I've been on progesterone/estradiol pessaries as well. My IUI was on the 31st October, I started on the pessaries a week later and I've also been having progesterone injections.

I think they recommend you don't do a HPT as it's possible it could have an invalid result. Let me know how your blood test goes though, mine's not until Monday.

Thanks so much Leasha, it means alot
Babysteps, how long did it take for you to get a donor through Pivet????
Also how much are you out of pocket each cycle if you dont mind me asking.
We are looking at changing to Pivet from concept

Our first cycle was meant to be $2400, but they wanted to do a HYCOSY scan to check my tubes are clear so that was added bringing it to $2800. We got $1550 back from Medicare, I went over the safety net in that transaction :P

Pivet have a leaflet with all their fees on their reception desk, so if you are nearby you could drop in and pick up the fee list. I think future cycles with the safety net are less than $500 and that includes sperm.

We joined the donor list in June 07 and were given a choice of donors in Feb 08. We were told it would take at least a year, but was only 8 months.

    Hey babysteps,
We have been speaking to Pivet (they are so so nice
they have back dated our our initial consult to when I first made our appointment 2 and a half years ago, so we dont need to wait for our donor
    We are stoked.
We are looking at starting again in april 09
    How are you going anyway???

Gizzmo, that's great news. I love the nurses at Pivet, they are very helpful.

I think I'm going to do another IUI cycle next month... just waiting for AF to start. If this one doesn't work out doctor has suggested we can try IVF next time if we want, but we won't be making a decision or having another attempt until April 2009. Maybe we can be clinic cycle buddies? That would be cool.
