Help Please re possible Chemical Pregnancy

Hi everyone I have been TTC for the better part of 2 years now with no hint of pregnancy.

Can anyone tell if they have had a chemical pregnancy what made it different to a normal period?

The reason I am asking is:-

I started spotting at 11DPO with my period arriving at 12DPO - yesterday (not really that unusual). It started as normal but last night I had the most painful cramps and lower back pain I have ever experienced nothing would get rid of it I still have it now. It bought me to tears and I was curled up on the floor of the shower in pain.

This is unusual for me as I do have period cramps that can sometimes make me feel yuck but I take naprogisic for them and they are fine this paid the naprogisic has not even made a dent.

I also have a touch of diarriah and thought that maybe this was causing the pain but is not even that paid just some lose stools (sorry TMI).

I do not know if these even matters but it is just something that has crossed my mind

    Hi Kyliekd

I cannot offer you any advise about a chemical preg (that I know of properly) - but I did have a similar thing about 3 cycles ago. I have always had pain with AF but this one was different. It started with spotting on Wednesday and stopped by the Friday, but by Saturday morning OMG it came with a vengence!! I had to pull over my car and call an ambulance - the morphine was soooo good! The hospital staff said if I had of done a preg test on Wed it most likely would have been positive (as AF stopped for those few days) but of course any chance of pg after the Saturday was gone, so I am assuming it would have been a chem preg and that is why it caused so much pain. However I also have have Endo so that could have contributed also.
    Good luck

Kylie it is possible that you had a chemical pregnancy, but you might never know.
I had a chemical pregnancy earlier this year, but the only reason I knew was because I had already gotten 2 BFP's before I lost my baby at 14DPO, the day AF was due. I don't normally have pain associated with AF, and that time I did.

Many many many women will have had at least one chemical pregnancy and not known about it. I wouldn't be surprised if I had had other chemical pregnancies.

Wishing you all the very best with your TTC journey. I really hope that it is over for you soon, adn you have a healthy little bubba.

    All the best.
