    hmmm...maybe need a second opinion

I went to the doctors today to get a medical certificate signed to get an extension on my uni essay. While I was there, I had a few questions:

    - Is there something I can take to regulate my period, to make it come on tim 28 cycle, so that I can have more chances to ovulate?

-And....my period was due last friday, I took a test the night before (thursday) and it was BFN, but my period still hasnt turned up.

All I got was a reply of.....
"Theres nothing you can do unless you want to go back on the pill. You need to stop thinking about trying to have a baby, because that in its own way is contraception. Just have unprotected sex and just wait it all out til your surgery in september" (for my possible endo).

Was kind of shocked and set back...not what I was expecting. What happened to the compassionate doctors out there who deal with women who have conception problems and need a bit of support?????!!!!!!

I have no idea what to do now. I was expecting maybe a blood test to see if that reveals anything, but...yeah....nothing.

I was just going to wait til my AF turns up, well give it another week or so til I do another test.

P.S I've been having cramps for about a week that I usually get with AF, but no other signs like spotting, or bleeding etc

I'd test again & if you're not Preg go see a naturopath or Chinese medicine practitioner. I had 2 m/c & terrible cycles, was put on vitex by the naturopath to regulate my cycles & it was fantastic. 28 day cycles, fixed my clotting, heavy periods and cramps. I fell Preg about 4 months later and now have my bubba. My friend exact same story but she went with Chinese medicine. Fertile Ground in Melb is where I went. I'd be going to a diff doctor. I swear by vitex it's great!
    Good luck Hun

Funny you say that Babyluv, I am already seeing a naturopath, I have been on a herbal tincture to balance my hormones and it has Vitex in it for about 3 bottles- so.....6-8 weeks now

Definitely get a second opinion if you are concerned. What crappy bedside manner!

Vitex and acupuncture worked for me too, I was having 37-day cycles and spotting for a full week before AF. They sorted me right out.
