    UTI - symptom of conception?

I am going nuts - seem to have a UTI that has come out of no-where. Has anyone else had this when they have conceived? I'm not sure if I have or not. Looking for signs...

I haven't encountered that Valentine, but if you do have a UTI you will need to take a probiotic supplement (ie Ethical Nutrients UTI Support) asap to eliminate it safely without side effects. Avail from the fridge of your nearest health food store.

I hope it means you're about to get some good news!!! The reason I found out I was pg with DD1 was when I woke up at 4am one day with a raging UTI and had to go to the hospital to get a doctor's certificate because I was due at work at 6am and knew I couldn't go in the state I was in. The nurse did a routine pg test and told DH and I we were expecting! We had been trying but I continued getting AF (although lighter than usual) so I was nearly 8 weeks along without having a clue!

Then when we started TTC the second time, I got a UTI and that 'funny' taste in my mouth, and sure enough, a POAS the day before AF was due confirmed it. So in my experience, yes, a UTI could well be a symptom that you're about to be a mum!! Good luck, I really hope you are UTD, although having a UTI is a cruel way to 'celebrate' it!

    Thanks for your advice everyone.
I'll see what happens - but I sense I'm not lucky this time.

Urinary Tract Infection pregnancy prescription is a course that would take from seven to ten days. This will be adequate to eliminate the organisms that cause the infection. Single day treatment is also available..............hope this will help
