Lighter period on an anovulatory cycle

I don't know if this is just a coincendence, but last month I didn't O and I had a very light period, this month I don't know if I O'ed or not, but I am having a super heavy period.

Is it possible that on the months I don't O my periods are lighter? Has anyone else experienced this?

    Hi Connie,
I thought I would BUMP this up - its an interesting question and one I have not thought of before.
My cycles are so different, sometimes I could go through AF without any pain and others are so painful and emotional.
Then there are cycles that are really light and others that are heavy.

Has googling given you any answers?

Hope all is well for you.

Google is telling me that this could be correct, but the truth is, I dont think even the professionals know for sure.

I'm going to keep an eye on it and see how we go.

The only problem is that by the time AF comes along, it's too late to start BDing and you're defintely not pregnant! Booooo!

I've wondered this. I had a very light bleed for 3 days in the middle of this cycle and I still wonder if it was a period after an anovulatory cycle or if it was just random spotting.
