How soon after ovulation can you test?

Just wondering if you have to wait till AF is over due, before testing?

um i think there are some early detection kits, but yeah, generally i *think* 10 days past O is the earliest....but they all tend to say that you need to wait until AF is due...man that TWW is soooo long LOL!

OMG how exciting Gypsy!!! I soooo hope your pg There are test out there that say you can use them 5 days before AF due but I think you will get the most accurate result after AF is due.

I agree that you'll probably get the best results waiting until at least the day AF is due BUT if you cant (which hardly any of us can ) then there are tests out there that are sensitive enough to pick up a BFP a few days earlier.
With DS I got my BFP on day 9 after O so it can show that early. With saying that I would still suggest to hold out testing for as long as possible (I know......easy for me to say)

I know with this pg i ovulated on a thurs/Fri...and the following Friday i tested and got the faintest, of faintest BFP.....i didnt even show my DH coz i thought i was seeing things. Obviously as time went on, it got darker....

Yes you can get tests that can detect pregnancy early - I thought there were ones up to 7 days before AF was due. But those test are so expensive, so if you can wait then try and do so until at least the day AF is due.

I tested and got my BFP at 11dpo! It was so faint my hubby and the doc couldnt even see the line but I could see it! a blood test confirmed it the same day.

FF website did some studies on preg women and said only a tiny percentage of those that went on to be preg actually got BFP's before 14dpo. Basically it was saying not to waste money POAS until at least 14dpo (the day AF is due)!I can't remember all the other details but you can look it up.
