+hpt just after AF?

Has this happened to anyone out there?
I did 4 tests yesterday, all faint but positive.
I am waiting for my blood test results this morning. I am sure it'll be negative but that apparently means I miscarried.
Do you think there's any chance, I had what I thought was a period last week!
I am on the edge of my seat!! This is awful.

Some people do have a period when they are early PG and not miscarry.

If you have had a loss, sometimes it can take a little while for the hormones to settle down so you still my test +ve.

I think you are right. I think it's over, I dont feel pregnant....who knows though? I'll just have to wait for my results to come back later this morning.

Waiting for test results totally stinks but it's the only way you will know.

I have known women who thought they had AF for the first 5 or 6 months of pregnancy so I guess there is hope.

I got AF at about 3 weeks PG, (I didn't know I was PG at the time). I found out with a +HPT at 7 weeks, which was then confirmed by a BT. I still don't really feel PG, no m/s, not that tired. I was still getting to know body after coming off BC, thought the sore BB and cramps were signs of AF and/or Ov. If it wasn't for the sore BB, I would feel completly normal (which I only really got at about 6 weeks).

Could it have been implantation bleeding and not AF that you had sassba? Implantation bleeding is shorter and not so heavy and doesnt have that light heavy light flow.

hi guys, thanks for all the replies!
Well my blood test is positive, but only just!
I have to have another test to see if the level goes up or down next week. I kind feel it is over and I maybe was pregnant but I'm not anymore.
we'll see I guess. I wish I just knew!!!

I know how you feel! I had what I thought was AF for the last 3 months...yet I think I may be preggers now....going to get a bloodtest tomorrow. The waiting is terrible! Wishing you the best on your test next week.

LilMrsK - best of luck for tomorrow... so the HPT's have been coming up neg each time? At least BT will tell you for sure... the HPT's you probably can't trust 100% hey?

I'm waiting at the moment to see what's going on with me and might be getting a BT on Monday....find out whats going on with AF...!! shes 5 days late!
